Best Places to Visit

Finding new opportunities to travel when you’re young can be a great way to shape your understanding of the world, and yourself. When you travel with fresh, young eyes, you’re still learning who you are and what you believe in, which means that you’re still open-minded enough to have some truly life-altering experiences, before it’s time to make some serious decisions about your future.

So long as you have the cash, and the money belt to keep your valuables safe, exploring some of the following destinations could be an incredible way to feed your soul and experience more from your youth. Following are our top places to visit before you’re thirty.

1.    Palau – Jellyfish Lake

Imagine the magic of swimming through thousands of stunning golden jellyfish, without a single sting to worry about. This incredible experience is enough to turn your world upside down, which is one of the many reasons why it makes our list of places to visit before you’re thirty. You’ll come out of the water feeling completely awestruck, and braver than ever.

2.    California – Half Dome

The Half Dome in Yosemite National Park is only a day’s hike worth of travel, but it’s designed to challenge just about every aspect of your body. You’re going to need to work hard to get the most out of this particular vacation, but by the time you get to the summit, you’ll be able to tell your friends you know what it feels like to stand atop California.

3.    Florida – Disney World

Alright, this one isn’t going to teach you too much about yourself, but it’s still one of the best places to visit before you’re thirty. If you leave it any later than that to enjoy the magical parks for yourself, then you run the risk of having to take your own children with you, which means that you end up with less control over the rides you get to go on, and when you can stop for a beer break.

4.    France – La Closerie des Lilas (Paris)

This Café located in Paris is the destination where Apollinaire, Cezanne, and Picasso used to meet up for coffee and chats. If you’re an artistic type, it’s worth seeing at least once before you turn thirty. On top of that, it was also home to Earnest Hemingway’s favorite bar stool, which you can still check out for yourself today.

5.    China – Macau Tower

Known as the spot for the second highest bungee jump in the world, this is China’s very own version of Los Vegas. If you’re a thrill seeker, this is the perfect place to visit before you turn thirty for some last-minute adventure and incredibly frightening activities.

6.    Jordan – The Dead Sea

Finally, the biblical history and modern-conflict of the Dead Sea makes it one of the most culturally significant places to visit on earth. If nothing else, telling people that you visited the Dead Sea should be a way to spark up conversations when your future dinner parties start to get boring.
